How many times will Santa, aka delivery drivers visit your house prior to Christmas?

Welp I just spent a ton on TikTok shop for the kids' lists and they were almost all from different sellers so... A LOT.

I figure UPS, FedEX, or Amazon will arrive at least 50 times before Christmas this year.
Yeah 50...maybe more honestly sounds about right for us. If there's a day between Thanksgiving and Xmas eve that we don't receive packages it's very rare. I do 90% of our Xmas shopping online.

3 times or less is my prediction. We tend to shop local. THAT may be the challenge as local merchants don't stock the inventory they used to.

I like the idea of shopping local because I know if I don’t, the day will come where online is my only option, but online is so much more convenient.

In 20-30 minutes I can shop the equivalent of an entire mall and several strip shopping centers, saving hours and hours.

I'll take advantage of delivery because I'd rather not drive into town as often as I do during the warmer seasons. I really won't see in increase for me based on the holiday because I really don't have anyone that I buy gifts for other than at the shelter and that gets delivered there. They'll be an increase for me just based on convenience, but it won't really be holiday related.

Probably none for Christmas things but at least once a week for normal every day stuff. Hubby and I don't exchange gifts any more. I got my son's family a Disney gift card because they are taking their 4 year old daughter to Bibbity in Jan. and I'm paying for that. I will probably order a few things for the grand daughter but have them sent to their house. I'll either give my son cash or gift cards. We don't exchange gifts with anyone else in the family any more. The advantage of getting old, you really don't need anything that you probably haven't already bought for yourself so others don't have to worry about getting you anything.

There are almost 500 residential dwellings in my building.
USPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon et al, each make at least one daily delivery to the building in a normal month.
Most residents using car services this month are already directing the drivers to meet them on the street instead of the driveway for fear access will be blocked.

On the bright side, I never worry about anyone stealing my packages as staff has a good storage and tracking system in place.
