I found this board while investigating pin collecting in 1999. while living in California...little did I know we would be moving to Fl the following year...we've really taken advantage of the world since being here...our fav thing to do since the move...we've been 20+ times...

Found the DIS in December 2000 (had another user name then that I lost after a year It's around here somewhere.) 8 times prior to the DIS and 3 times since finding.

I found the Dis right after my first stay on site with my DGD's. That was in July, 2000. They had just arrived two months before from Germany and didn't speak much English. But they sure knew the Disney characters! Since it was my first time I found myself addicted and had to go back, so I searched for a Disney related website. Couldn't believe the savings to be had (I first went through a TA), and have gone back twice as a solo using the saving tips on this site.

Found this board in May of 2000, went on two trips August of 2000 and August of 2001. was gone about six months after the second trip and couldn't sign in as my original name of Pegg, so now I am mrspiglet.

Found the DIS after I went to WDW on a business convention in early '98 and spent a half day at MGM. I was planning our first, and to date, only, family trip in late '99. I had been to DL as a single back in '68 and with our family in '92. I really got hooked on Disney while getting our '99 trip planned. And since then I have been to WDW 8 more times solo and DL 2 times solo. So, since finding the DIS, 9 WDW's and 2 DL's.

So I have been 2 times since registering and have 2, maybe 3, trips planned for 2003.

I also managed to buy annual passes and DVC.....

Expensive addiction, but I don't drink or smoke.

We've been to WDW 4 times in the last four years and I found the Dis right before our 3rd trip down. I wish I would have found it before our first trip!

I was researching a family vacation and didn't know where I wanted to go back in 98. The dis convinced me to go to WDW and I planned a trip. We went in 2000. Sadly we haven't been able to go back yet.
