How many tents could fit at Ft Wilderness?

could 3 five person tents fit on one site. There is going to be 7 of us and we like our space lol already booked for april 2011!

There is a 2 sleeping tents and 10 person maximum per site.

I have seen 3 + in our loops before and I believe you will see on this site 3 tents and a free standing cover...

The "official" rule is 2 tents and an awning, or 1 tent, 1 camper, and an awning.

However, especially in the partial hookup loops, as long as it fits on the site, set up what you need.

I have personally had 3 tents and two EZ-UP type tents set up on my site back on the 2000 loop. Not a problem.

If you do need to set up 3 tents I would recommend booking a partial site and requesting Loop 2000. That way you are guaranteed to have plenty of room to set up.

Are you kidding, people build houses out of tents on some of those sites. A dining tent to go over the table. A kitchen tent for cooking... with the whole nine yards. A few sleeping tents, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a potty tent through one of those little tunnel attachments. Let's not forget the TV/relaxing text to boot.
