How many people had to hand over coupons when they rented with Alamo?

Just taking a poll here guys. I have a reservation with Alamo next weekend and used a coupon i now cant find. Many people have said they dont ask for the coupon but i have a feeling with my luck they will. Did they ask for your's when you rented?

Yes, you have to have it, if it was a printable one. They took mine just a few weeks ago. IT was one that was $30 off for a weekly rental.

I've had to have it on several rentals with Alamo. Once I couldn't find it and they wouldn't honor the rate - luckily I found it in my bag. Maybe you can find another coupon like it, I usually have good luck with coupons from BJ's or the Entertainment Book.

I also always try to have a backup copy as well for when I drop the car back off. I am able to print it off the Costco website; maybe you can print off the BJ's website?

Every time, at both Nat'l & Alamo. E-coupons off the websites do not need paper, but any other sort does.

Just FYI, once I managed to mislay my coupon en route; I had it when I left home, but could not lay my hands on it when I arrived at the destination airport. The coupon rate wasn't honored, of course, but I found the coupon during my trip, so I stopped in to the counter after dropping off my car, and they credited it because it had been on my original reservation, which I still had a dated copy of.

We used a paper coupon from the Ent book and we did need to hand it over at the garage checkout.

Entertainment Book I used 2 times and yes I had to hand it over.

Thanks for the responses...i just checked and it looks like i used rate/product code byw3. I do have the entertainment book coupons and tried to motify my reservation but the price goes up by a few hundred dollars

when we went to las vegas we didnt have to have one, in fact we didnt even know about the coupon and the lady told us to rent the compact and they were out and she gave us a coupon for like $50.00 off for that week and we got upgraded to a midsize for only $105.00 for the whole week
