How many people financed DVC?

We financed our 160 points with Disney late last summer for 10 years. It sounds like an awfully long time, and it is, but I set it up through my credit union, it comes out of my check and we never notice it. I am hoping that after we make our first DVC trip this summer DH starts having us pay it off a little faster. Financing was the only way to go at the time and so far it's been painless. As a matter of fact, I have $25 more a month taken out than DVC takes for dues and loan $, so I've built up a nice little extra amount.

Im not going to try to tell anyong how to spend their money, but we financed all our contracts through Disney. Im a CM and with the discount and the direct debit it is just easier for us.

We financed through Disney because it was much simpler. We pay extra each month and will pay it all off when I get my bonus. We also had Jim McCoy and he was fabulous. We did the entire deal over the phone and at the end Jim made us promise that when we go down there in May we seek him out and introduce ourselves.

We financed through Disney, too, with 20% down, and have 4 more years to pay it off. After that, only annual dues to pay for!! Yay!

Since we stay in a 2BR for a week to ten days, paying about $700 a year in dues is pretty good to stay in those size accomodations! :)

We financed through Disney and love the convenience of the whole process, especially the auto deduction. We felt their rates were very competitive. We're glad that we have the $$ taken out for our travel. We'd be grouchy people without our vacations. We've shopped around other time shares and all in all, Disney is not only more affordable than other point systems, but the financing is icing on the cake!
