Unless you've tried them before and like them, I would advise not getting the Aspens. I have them and do NOT like them. One of the great things about most Crocs is that your feet don't get sweaty. Since these have no holes, the same does not hold true for them. As mentioned, I have them - and NEVER wear them.

Thanks for the advice. But I thought they would be good for when it starts to get cooler, and for work - the AC is REALLY cold there. I also figured that they would be great when it snows and I have to bring a change of shoes when I take off the snow boots. (Good grief! Did I just type the word "snow" and it's 100 degrees outside?!!!!!)

Forgot to add that the one with just the holes on the side ARE for the trip. I'm getting them in chocolate to match more of my outfits.

last tme I went, i probably went overboard on the shoes, but I took one water flip flop for pools, one pair of sneakers and 3 or 4 other pairs of shoes for our nights out to Jellyrolls and Pleasure island. gotta match those outfits!!! :drinking: :o

For me:
Crocs
Black mule sandals
Tennis shoes

DH:
Tennis shoes
Crocs

Kids:
One pair of nice sandals each
One pair of crocs each

Me
2 pairs of Converse
1 pair of flipflops
1 pair of Vans I didnt use...

Mom
2 pairs of flipflops
2 pairs of sneakers

So far this trip I'm planning on packing:

1 pr. white land and sea shoes
1 pr. coral land and sea shoes
1 pr. sky land and sea shoes
1 pr. gold sequin flip flops
1 pr. pool flip flops
1 pr. black heels
1 pr. beige leather flip flops
oops that's 7 and I voted 5-6.
It's possible I'll bring more, too. It depends on what I'm packing to wear. I'm planning that out on my spreadsheet now. (Will call OpA when I return - Overplanners Anonymous :) )

I bring 2 apirs of sneakers (that way if 1 pair gets wet, and they WILL get wet) you have a 2nd to wear while they are drying. A pair of sandals for resort nights, and a pair of H2o proof sandals for H2o parks.

I bring:

2 pairs of sneakers
Tevas
flip-flops

Me too. I always alternate my shoes, as well. Never wear the same ones 2 days running - and they are worn in, never new.

I alternate between two pair of well-worn sneakers and bring a pair of flip flops or sandals to wear around the resort. I LOVE shoes but at home I'm always bare-footin'.

2 pairs per person, 4 people in our family, ends up with too big a pile in the room! one pair sneaks-one pair sandals for each person, for pool use,or if sneaks are too hot. I hate bringing a lot of stuff-

Two pair
My lime green Crocs9purchased before I realized that Disers wear them) and my Birc sandals. Thought about packing sneakers but I don't wear them at home so why take them on a trip.

This trip I took a pair of tennis shoes and my Nike ACG sandals. I should have just brought the sandals as I wore the tennis shoes the first day and found them to be uncomfortable. The Nike sandals, while quite old, were awesome. They also dry quickly when wet. I had the same experience with DS2 - I packed both his tennis shoes and sandals, and all we ever put him in were his sandals.

I will be bringing my trusty haivianas flip flops, one pair of birkies, crocs, and my new keen venice shoes. I will probably spend MOST of my time in the keens as I got them a week ago and have hardly taken them off my feet! I have been wearing them for my walks on the treadmill and so far it is like walking on a cloud! And they are waterproof as well! I however need to have options...so the others will come along as well.
DH laughed at me on our first trip (honeymoon in 95) cause I had 3 prs of shoes. He was not laughing when after a rainy day I had dry footwear and he had soggy sneakers for several days :rotfl:

Thank you all so much for your votes, and your responses. I see that most people take between 2 and 4 pairs. Now I think I'm taking 1 or 2 pairs of Crocs, 1 pair of Nike Sandals, and 2 pairs of tennis shoes - so that's 4 (or maybe 5) pairs of shoes. I just do not want to be stuck like I was last year: only taking 2 pairs, but preferring to only wear the one. Hopefully this year my feet will be ALOT happier!
Thanks Again!:dancer:

My husband makes fun of me because I bring too many shoes. I usually bring a pair of New Balance runners, a pair of Tevas, a pair of Crocs and then a nice pair of sandals for a "Business Casual" dinner at one of the Signature restaurants. He just brings his New Balance cross trainers and his Tevas.

I only take 2 pair, one pair of sneakers and one pair of sandals. I wear one and pack one.
Judging by what happened today with the airlines, I think I'm going to need all the room in my bag that I can get! Everything is going to be in there.
