Well I'm no member of a gang but I think this thread was ridiculous! Why anyone would post this confounds me and I don't care who the OP was! It went WAY beyond odd.

If you find the thread ridiculous then why are you bothering to post? Do you plan to poke sticks at the people who've posted that the smell of skunk doesn't bother them or are you just going after the OP, as per your usual M.O.?
And I beg to differ whether you belong to a gang or not......

FlowersChild, I'm no fan of skunk stink but when they're de-stunk they are adorable pets! LOL
Someone else mentioned french fries smelling like skunk. I think old grease smells very skunk-like and there are several other foods that when spoiled smell like skunk. Don't ask me how I know.

In case anyone DOESN'T like the smell of skunk on their dog this works great:

16 oz. hydrogen peroxide
1/4 c baking soda
1 t dish soap

Keep it out of their eyes. I've done this 2X in the past 6 months, you'd think she'd learn!!

If this was a new poster and this was their first post would you really think they were serious?

I fail to see what difference it makes whether he's serious or not. There are hundreds of mindless threads on the CB -- clubs, if you will -- that exist with their endless chatter of inanities. Why are those okay, but FC's posts aren't? How would you all feel if people constantly stalked those threads with sarcasm and cruelty?

Some of us happen to like what he has to say. It's a nice refreshing break from all the heartache and drama going on in the world today. Just like all of those other silly threads going on here.

Why in the world can't you people just ignore these threads and leave them for the rest of us to enjoy???

Wouldn't the peroxide bleach the dog's fur?

I don't know about you but I would much rather have a bleached dog than a stinky one. I'm sure you don't leave it on long enough to change the color though, isn't it just a wash?

Boca Raton, Florida

Ohio girl here! And oh, how I wish I'd never smelled a skunk. It is not only foul, but if you've been near it for even a short time (like stopping at a light) your eyes water and your nose burns and the stench stays in the car for at least half an hour.

Usually it is just a foul odor, because you aren't close to it and is out of the car in 10-30 seconds. But when you are close - it is wretched. I didn't know you guys didn't have skunks in Florida. I've learned so much on this thread.

I didn't know you guys didn't have skunks in Florida. I've learned so much on this thread.

AWWW I'm so flattered you know me *LL*!!!! I mean really flattered!!!!!!! It's so nice for someone to recognize you and say hi in such a nice and wonderful way!!!! You rule in the nice column dontcha??

As for why I think the thread is ridiculous is because IT IS!!!!!!!! You don't agree...I don't care if you do or not...I have an opinion as do you apparently but I think it is a ridiculous post. I'd go after anyone posting something like this.....and apparently I'm not alone but you chose to go after me which is somewhat of a personal attack like you are putting on me...but whatever..you are so nice and all. And for the record you came after ME for coming after the OP...so you my *friend* are no better so come off your high horse and smell the roses sweetheart!

As for the gang...last time I checked I'm not a crip or a blood so I have no idea the gang you are referring too but kudos for trying.

And I still say as do OTHERS on here though you chose to pick me out which was so sweet..that this topic is ridiculous!
