I am Dising from the middle of nowhere at my mother's house this weekend while Clint is working, and she dug up this pic of me from my first WDW trip...I don't remember if we got there early to save our spot for the parade or if people were behind us pushing. I just remember that Snow White waved at me and I was in heaven!

Also.. check out the old school Mickey sweatshirt!!

Awww how sweet! Sadly I do not have that picture--well at least not as a child. I didnt get to make my first trip til I was 32.

What great pictures!

I didn't make my first trip till I was an adult (25).

OMG! I have that picture of myself somewhere too, wearing the EXACT sweatshirt!!!! Thanks for bringing back some great memories :sunny: I was there with my mother, my sister who was 27 yrs old at the time, I was 17 yrs old, and my niece who was 7 yrs old. We ALL bought identical sweatshirts. I know I saved mine, I wish I knew where it was.

Oh my! You have taken me on a trip down Memory Lane (Main Street:) )! My parents have that same picture from our first trip to WDW (then just the MK!) when I was 6---31 years ago! Thanks for posting it!

What's interesting is it appears that you're wearing the same sweatshirt in both pics, but the Mickey image is reversed....innnnnnntersting....:scratchin

Also interesting...a pic from childhood that is in color!:teeth: Usually we see black and whites. :p

Looks like you are in the parade and everyone is there to see you. LOL:D

I had that exact sweatshirt!! :D If my memory is still good, I am guessing this was taken in the early 80's...........81 or early 82?
It's hard for me to believe that the '80's' happened over 20 yrs ago!

I think the Main Street pic was reversed when processed. Isn't the castle backwards?

Neat Pics!

What a treasure to find!! I hope you are going to frame it and put it up in your house!!:)

Very Cool!

The first thing I noticed is the clock is on the wrong side of Main St, LOL! I videotape it everytime we walk down Main St. I thought it had been moved before I read the rest of this thread. That makes sense now though.

Yup, I immediately noticed that someone took Cinderella's castle and reversed it.... but mostly I noticed that the clock was on the wrong side of the road. Maybe this was a slide that just needs to be flipped.........Great picture, BTW.... I have a few treasures like that myself!...................P

Same pic...the year WDW opened and I have the same one for each of my 2 daughters. One at age 2 or so and the other at 3. Of course, we have also duplicated it over the years as they have both grown.....ahh...memories.

Ok I finally figured out how to post a picture. This is from the early 70's (can ya tell?) with my dad, brother and sister. I'm the one in the fashionable red & white tank top.

Yep. 1972 was my first trip to the World. I've been hooked for a LONG time.::yes::

My daughter is mesmerized by your picture. She has been asking questions all morning about you. Is she married now? Did she get married at WDW? How old was she when she went to WDW?
I think you have a fan.

I asked my mother where were the pictures of our only trip to WDW as a child. "Oh, we didn't take the camera."

Yes, she took the electric frying pan to cook with in the room 1 hour away from WDW but she didn't take the camera! My frugal mother probably thought that the film was too expensive.

You must have been so disappointed!! We have pictures AND home movies (color but silent) from our first trip to WDW in 1974 (maybe 1975?). I treasure those!! My mom had them transferred to VHS about 15 year ago. My dad took film from the Skyway.... really cool.... we were one month shy of the grand opening of Space Mountain! ......................P
