How many of the 11 month bookings for December are walkers?

First 2 weeks of Dec are extremely difficult at 7 months out pretty much anywhere except SS…unless you want just 1 or 2 days

In that quest to grab the 1st week of Dec at WL…Via stalking, now have 2 res, missing just one night to link them (12/3).

Other than it being a perennial busy DVC week, wondering if there something ‘special’ going on that Sunday that I may have missed?

I don’t think you actually need to walk to get Christmas week. There might be Isome walking, but that’s going to be a very small number.

Maybe it's not necessary to walk to get Christmas week, but since it's such a specific date that you're targeting that's not flexible, I wouldn't be surprised by a lot of people feeling the need to walk in order to be safe.

I'll admit, my 12/3-12/10 reservation at BRV was walked a few days (in direct violation of my own stated "no-walk" rule). It was only a few days, and I did see that I probably could have just made the reservation at 11 months, so it may be the only time for me (it's just way too much hassle).

I'm sure there are a lot of people that buy a fixeed week for Christmas becasue it fits their current travel style...I can't imagine the crowds, anyway. I took a group of 11 to Thanksgiving Week a couple of years ago. I tried to warn them, they didn't listen. It was horrible.

They can sell up to 35% of specific room types for any given use day. So, there will always be at least 65% of the rooms available.
