How Many of IMDB's Top 250 Movies have you watched?

39. Of those, there are several I wish I had never seen. Nothing on the list I'm all that interested in seeing, either. I like light and fluffy movies that require little thought. ;)

Wow ... I ended up with 112 -which is wayyy more than I expected.

Yeah, 'The Departed' and 'Godfather' are far from fluffy or light.

45. A few of them were some I'd had to watch for Humanities class in high school, otherwise I would never have seen them (Rashomon & Ran). Others are some of my all time favorite movies (In the Name of the Father, Princess Bride & Monty Python & the Holy Grail).

72. Less than I thought, but more than I would have had if my parents hadn't been old movie buffs.

223 :surfweb: Spent many times going to the cinema 3 and 4 times a week, when I was young, free and single.
Old and Foreign language films were a particular favourite.

139. I guess that's the ballpark I would have predicted.
I should have DH take this- I'll bet he scores higher than I did.

I prefer light and fluffy too! We love old movies- and some of them fall into that category.

But I have seen my share of dark movies that stay with you for days afterward. Deerhunter is probably the first movie I remember not being able to stop thinking about for many days (even now it brings back chills)
And I have seen quite a few I wish I never watched.

Some of the titles made me smile! :) Singing in the Rain, Butch Cassidy, It Happened One Night, Monty Python, Annie Hall...

More than I thought. I'm not that much of a movie person.

105. I was actually surprised there were so many. It helps when I have seen most of the Anime movies on the list (think I only missed one) and it included things like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings!

I got 88. Better than I thought. ;)
In large part the Disney and Anime I like, along with the Clint Eastwood westerns and action movies I grew up watching. :rotfl2:

92. That's a great list to keep around when you're looking for something to watch. There were a lot that wanted to see but just never got around to.

76. Not too bad, but I realize now I need to see more movies made before 1980.

I know what you mean. Seen The Deerhunter myself. then went with some chums. Then persuaded my folks that it would be worth seeking.
From that moment I made it a mission to see all Robert De Niro movies. Raging Bull was spectacular. But De Niro was in some truly awful movies :confused3

I have only seen 119 of them. Looks like I have a lot of movie to watch.
