How many new Christmas ornaments this year?

DW was a Christmasaholic before I got her to be a DISaholic. This year we purchased a new container to hold our ornaments with 96 slots. DW asked if this would be big enough if she fit multiple ornaments into each slot. I said, no way because we got 20 new ones this year alone. She said no way. I said let's count.

Final count for 2003 is 24 new Christmas ornaments, including 5 Disney. And no, I had to get another bin

I only got 2 new ornaments and they are both Disney. My Christmas tree is done all in Disney!

The 1st ornament I got is from Disneyland, it is Lilo & Stitch! It is way cute, Lilo is kissing Stitch and they are both wearing Santa outfits!

The 2nd ornament I got is a Chip & Dale-(Little Mischief Makers-Disc). I received it from my "Secret Santa"(at Work).


Each year I like to get 1 to 2 new ornaments for my Disney tree! I hope I will be going to Disney World in Oct. 2004, then I will pick out a couple of new ones there!!

Well, let's see....I bought 6, and then, as a family, we received 8 as gifts. Yikes, when I look at it that way, it seems like a TON!!! We come from a long line of "you can never have enough ornaments" family!

it's actually 7 as I "made" 2 Buzz ornaments for myself out of a toy kit as we had searched high & low to find one.

So dh bought the toy kit for my birthday. I attached some fishing line & presto 2 Disney ornaments.

Ornament collecting is truly an addiction & I don't think there is a cure.

I don't know how many I've bought this year but it would be at least 20+. A slow year, I'm cutting back

I really have no idea how many I have, 100's. I'm going to get them all entered in a software program I have someday. My Disney and some others are displayed all the time. Just too much time and $$ to enjoy them a couple of months a year.

A total of 6. We always buy an ornament during each vacation. This year we bought ones at WDW, DL and Hershey. We also got 3 as gifts including the one DD made at school (my favorite).

I got about 10-12 new ornaments this year, but we intentionally got a lot since it was our first Christmas as a married couple. I'm a Christmasaholic too--I collect Christmas ornaments, miniature ornaments, nutcrackers, and two different villages.

Considering I don't use half the ornaments I have and never got out after Christmas for the big sales my count is 5.

I think I received/bought around 10 this year. I don't mind adding that many to my collection. We usually give the kids each an ornament or two each year (often from vacations). I figure in a few years they'll move out and take them with them, so I need to build up my collection in anticipation of that day.

Having said that, I didn't get them ornaments this year. What a bad mother I am.

Well I bought some in Disney in August that went up new this year. Im collecting gingerbread ornies for my second tree we put up this year so I bought a bunch and friends gave me some. Im just taking them down today, ok well I was till I started Dissing

I know they all wont fit in the old bin, the gingies went in its own box, to many breakable ones.

I have yet to get to a gift shop to pick up some Hallmarks, I usually get some after christmas and tuck them away and get surprised the following year.
