As some background, we have about 6 contracts at the BCV's and 3 (soon four) at the GFV's. All October use year.
The contracts are bound by Florida law. I would imagine Canada bankruptcy and divorce law would treat assets the same as in the USA.Not even sure if the same rules/laws would apply to Canadians.

Our new GFV points would hold an August use year and each of our other contracts have an October use year. So I'm guessing our new points would have a new membership number and new member account. Not perfect but it is apparently difficult getting the same use year at the GF as my current use year.
As for "separate memberships," think of it this way: you'll have a separate log-in on the website for any contract titled differently. Points will not be pooled.
O.k., just added two (children's) names to our brand new deed/purchase. Papers haven't arrived yet.
Anyone know if they will automatically receive DVC cards?
