I know!! I mean I’m glad we missed the snow and freezing temps, but I feel bad for my MIL who is staying with the dogs. So of course I’ve been worrying about that.
I have to say it's been a rough one here in MA and all of NE this year, particularly with the cold temps. We've been pretty fortunate the last few winters so we've become kind of spoiled. One thing to look forward to, and we all need that more than ever these days, is Spring is on the way!
I live in MA and I still love it. Part of the reason is the peace it brings. I like the falling snow and the calmness. It's part of getting older I guess. I value the quiet. I'd take it over the heat & humidity any day. Of course, I'm retired now so I don't have to deal with commuting anymore. I also don't have to shovel since I live in a complex.
