The good news is we leave tomorrow but the bad news we live in a garden apartment and we're swamped with ants right now. We've always had them since we moved in but they were controlled and I put down black/red pepper, spray mint, and sticky traps (which I hate using), put any open food either in the fridge or in a separate cabinet, keep the apartment clean and vacuumed but I still get them. Our apartment is essentially a basement so it's kind of expected but with all the extremely wet and warmer weather the past 2 weekends they are all over my kitchen. I also had a leaky kitchen faucet which has since been fixed so they may be looking for that water source. On a positive note, I'm not afraid of them so it's not like cockroaches that totally freak me out. Being away for 2 weeks may be good because there won't be any running water or crumbs of food to deal with so maybe they will move on for the most part. On a bright side, I could always invest in one of these

29! We just added an extra night at ASMu the night before checking into AKL. We usually spend the night near our departing airport because we live a couple of hours away & like to fly out on the first flight. Well the hotel room was near $300 & less than $100 at ASMu w/ the Disney Visa offer.
