Just curious how many people on here booked prior to the Grand Opening announcement, either a HP package or onsite between May 28th-June 17th?
I've seen quite a few posts, just wondering how many are out there!

We booked Jan 9th staying at the HRH!!! I spoke to Universal Guest Serivces and HRH and they told (email) that we are good to go!!! It is going to be great!!!:banana:

We booked on Feb. 26th for the RPR. June 9th-11th. It is not an HP package........keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed that we get in!!!!

We booked back on January 7 for May 28-31 at the HRH anticipating that WWoHP would be open for the Memorial Day weekend, but ready to cancel and rebook if it wasn't.

When the package came out with a May 28 start date, we were pumped, but just to be on the safe side called 3 separate times to verify if the WWoHP would be open, and were told all 3 times that our booking was safe and the WWoHP would be open no later than May 28 and there was no reason for us to upgrade to the package.

Thus we booked our flights.

Then of course the official announcement on March 25 scared the crap out of us. Thankfully, the picture cleared up a bit a couple days ago, and Universal appears to be doing right by giving onsite early bookers, and package holders preview access from May 28-June 17.

:cheer2:We booked on Feb. 5 for 5 nights at HRH- June 4-June 9. I was told when I called the HRH earlier this week that we would be able to "preview" the WWoHP since we booked before March 25.:banana::banana:

We booked HRH for 6/10-6/11 mid March. Not HP package, just onsite. I have talked to Universal Customer Service 3 times and have been assured that onsite guests will be able to experience WWoHP.

(we also booked our stay after the HP packages were out figuring that anything after 5/28 would be safe, lucky that we booked before Mar 25)

HP Package, off-site.... June 2nd through the 7th!!!
Booked it a couple of days before the June 18th announcement, so we lucked out!

Onsite room here booked when the package was announced but I didn't get the package...just the room at HRH. I ALMOST didn't book and was going to do a 2 bedroom suite offsite (just for the extra room )but decided that HRH rates and pool looked great. :yay::yay::yay:

I am there May 30-June 6.

I booked the HP package for June 2-5. We have never been there. Yippee!

We have never been to Universal and are really looking forward to our visit.

Before the announcment I booked 1 night at Royal Pacific for the 27th of May then we rented a week at a condo but kept the 1 night at RPH.

I got the $99 tickets. So we will be there the 27th and 28th and I hope that it will work out.

Were received a pin in Feb for 125 a night at RPR...we have the $99 tix so went ahead and booked adding it to the beginning of our WDW Star Wars weekends trip...we were hoping HP would be up and running,,,,we will see what happens...I know the resorts have stated that those who booked prior to announcment will receive info at check in on their admission to HP...I am HOPING that it is not limited admission, as in certain days etc, but for all days booked. We are also driving so our days might change, so not sure if I will be allowed to make any changes to our dates bu a day or so on wither side now that the HP sh** has hit the fan. I need to call and see, but so many different versions floating around, not sure WHAT to believe! I hate to burn out 99 tix if we can't see HP ( we are booked to arrive 2 weeks ahead of Official grand opening) but I also hate to give up the 125 rate!
So techinically we are room only ressie, booked in Feb ahead of official announcement, but set to arrive there first week of June prior to official opening...should we keep our plans?

Booked June 6-9, we originally booked in August APH rate, then when the HP package came out, changed it over as it was only $20 more....

This will be a first time visit for us too! Can't wait!

I have two reservations, each for one night.

one booked March 22 for the night of June 10th at Royal Pacific

one booked March 15 for the night of May 31 at Hard Rock

I love it when things work out and it looks like this just might.

I would keep those plans and if it goes like Universal is saying it will you will be enjoying HP and enjoying it less crowded:banana:

We will be there June 15 - 19 at PBH with no package but booked before March 25. We will be there for the official "Grand Opening" and my girls are thrilled that they might see some of the actors from the movies. And hoping we get in early since crowds on our last day are going to be a little heavy. . . :scared1:

We are going May 26-28 at Royal Pacific. . .then we booked the night of May 28 at one of the cheapest partner hotels (not really staying that night) to get the ticket and meal at Three Broomsticks. I am hoping the combination of these two will get us in.

any chance you might be willing or able to post while on your trip letting us know if you do indeed get access on your room only for the 27/28? I know it is asking a lot, but if you a/or anyone else who will be there that weekend can post...:worship:
