For my maternal grandparents, there are 9 of us. Paternal, 4 for my grandmother. Grandfather had three additional grandkids through his second marriage.
My moms parents - so my grandparents - 4 kids - 10 grandkids - 9 great grandkids - 6 great great grand kids...
My Dads parents - so my grandparent - 8 kids - 18 grandkids - there are so many great grands ( maybe 22 if my count is right) and great great grands ( I know the number is pushing 30) ...
Maternal - 9 (6 of whom are my family) Mama has one brother and one sister. Sister had two kids, brother had one.
Paternal - at least 11. (again 6 of whom are my family). Daddy also had one brother and one sister. Sister had two kids. Brother had 3 that we know about. He was a bit of a gad about. We didn't know about any until one son found our grandmother. Two daughters actually connected with me through Ancestry DNA and contacted me. They didn't know about each other or the brother I knew about. I'm pretty sure there was one other brother as I found someone looking for the uncle years ago on a local town website where our father's were born.
All my grandparents passed in the 90's. On my mother's side, they were 4 grandchildren. Oh my father's side.....if added all up (grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great granchildren) over 30. Yes over 30. My father was one of 14 children.
Dad's side - 6 biological, 9 total
Mom's side - 4 that I know of, but I only know 2 of my mom's 7 siblings! Way different ages, different regions, rarely crossed paths.
We( grandkids) all lived in the sane city growing up. Most still do. All family parties/gatherings are big. There was always a few of us grandkids at the same schools. We are still very close. This is probably the longest I have gone without seeing the whole family.
And this is just grandkids, does not include great grandkids.
Maternal: 16 grandchildren, of which I am the oldest. 12 Great-grandchildren, and 3 Great-great-grandchildren.
Paternal: 9 Grandchildren and I know they all have kids but I'm not really close to my Dad's side of the family for various reasons so I don't know the rest of the count.
