How many days?

Our next Universal trip is likely still two years away, since we're just doing Disney this year. (And then just Universal the next). In the past, we've done all 7 parks, which means one day per a park. I bought the 7 day Universal/IOA tickets last year when they were a mere $99 each for everyone in our party in anticipation. So, now we have an excuse to do more than just two days for once! We'll also do SW for that trip. (And perhaps Kennedy Space Center, though I might send DH and the oldest there and spend another day in US/IOA with the younger two!)

How many days do you think we could spend without getting bored of the parks? Or, perhaps I should say, without the kids getting bored of the parks since I could spend 7 days there happily! On our last trip, with kids ages 11 months, almost 4 and 6, one day was plenty for Universal but 1+ days was not enough for IOA. That was also before HP, and I have two HP fans already. The kids ages will be almost 4, almost 7, and 9.5 for our next trip. At that time, the youngest should be 42" and the middle child 48". (The oldest may be 60" by then, but he will only go on rides that the middle child will go on right now - and she always wants to ride everything she can).

We will stay on-site for some of the days, but likely not all. I'm thinking of Jan or early Feb, so crowds won't be an issue. (But we'll be on-site for some of the time just in case).

I think three full days would be plenty of time. Do a park each of the first two days and then use the third to go back and do the favorites.
