I know this question has probably been posted a million times before, but here it goes...

How many days do we need for disneyland and california adventure? Party consists of 2 couples with no kids. We were hoping that 2 full days would be plenty, but we are not sure. We have 7 days for vacation, the days that we are not in disney, we will be in Hawaii. What do you think?

Hi, I'm certainly not a DL expert, however I would say it depends on how much you want to see/do. Our experience last year was our familys first trip. We spent 4 days at the 2 parks, (hopping between the 2 parks). We do have 2 small children and went at a slower pace than you would be able to do with no children. If you take adavantage of fast passes I would think you could accomplish most things within 2 days, but not likely everything. Although to spend the rest of your vacation time in Hawaii, I would probably be willing to forgo a few of the Disney attractions;)

We went with a 8 and 6 year old, had 6 full days in the park and still didn't see everything. We did do multiples of certain rides though, the crowds were pretty low when we went too. We missed the museum thing in tomorrow land, disney playtime and all the things in that Crush area at DCA.

We did accomplish ALOT in a day though so make a list of the things you want to do and see the most.

I have found that 4 full days is enough to do everything the last 3 times I have gone to do everything in the 2 parks. The last time I went, we brought my 8 year old sister and didnt have any problem doing everything.

Conventional wisdom around here is that three days is considered the minimum to have a solid DLR visit and feel like you had enough time. Four days is better. It is certainly possible to have a lot of fun in the two days you are planning. But you will probably leave wishing you had taken at least one more day. :)

we did 5 days adult and yr old. did all the big rides at least 3 times each, have fun

I would say 2 days at DL and DCA, and then head to Hawaii. That way, a solid DL experience but your not exhausted for Hawaii. :) Even for adults, Disney and all that magic can get wearing after a couple of days. (Not that I mind, but still)

Have a great time.

It really depends on how much you want to see. In two days you can easily go on all major rides and see most shows. You'll miss some of the smaller rides.

You'll have to do some good planning in order to see fireworks, fantasmic, electric light parade etc. You'll also have to know how to make the best use of fast passes and what order to go on rides. This could mean walking back and forth across the parks a few times as well as park hopping each day.

Oooops, I did not read the OP thoroughly enough. Days at DLR are days you are not in Hawaii? Then I agree with Swan. Two days at DLR max. Heck, maybe a day trip will be enough. The real world of Hawaii trumps the fantasy world of DLR IMHO. :)

But I will stand by my previous comments that if you do 2 days at DLR or less you will probably leave feeling like you needed more. :goodvibes
