I am a newbie to Disneyland but not Disneyworld. How many days do you really need as a newbie? I was orignally planning on 2 days at disney and 2 at universal (since universal is doing buy 1 day get a day free) but now I am not sure. Help!

I would not do less than 3 days for Disneyland / DCA. This will allow plenty of time so you don't have to rush.

I have only been to Universal once, 10 years ago...but I we did everything we wanted to in one day. Including Jurasic Park about 10 times with little to no wait.

There is really no need for two days at Universal Studios; at the end of July, we were able to do a majority of the attractions by 4pm (we were there at opening). As for Disneyland, like the previous poster mentioned, I would say at least three days.

Depends on whether you are there at a busy season or not. Agree that one day is plenty at Universal. You might want two days (one for DL, one for DCA) and then a day for the San Diego zoo or something else. Otherwise, you can always fill another day at DLR.

I like to plan no less than 3 days at DLR. We don't do commando park touring though - we like to take an afternoon break and then go back in the evenings.

I agree with at least 3 days at DLR and 1 at Universal.

Another believer in 3 days minimum here too. :thumbsup2 Don't forget, DLR has two parks and DTD. Also, we don't stay an entire day in one park. We start at DL and then hop over to DCA when around lunch time. We might hop several times a day.

4 Days @ DLR. :hippie:

(If you must do US then no more than one day at US & 3 days DLR.....parkhopping each day at DLR).
