How Many Days to See Everything?

:thumbsup2

I'm feeling better now after reading this thread. We booked 4 days total, with 2 at each park. Going to do things we can't at WDW first and then doing the rest. I have been reading over the maps on a regular basis and found out that DL is basically shaped like WDW. We usually do the right side one day and then the left the next. Thinking of taking on the same strategy in DL. Glad I found this thread.

I have to disagree. We spent 6 days at DL in Feb and still did not see everything. It was our first time so we also spent time looking at EVERYTHING. I can't wait to go back and see the rest.

I agree, but I think it depends on what is important to your group. With our little kids we spend time meeting characters and riding the silly carrosel numerous times, after having been in the parks for 12 days over the last two years, we are close to seeing most everything. :) Good luck and have a great trip!!

Oh and I am not really a roller coaster person but I thought MH was fine, its a lot bumpier/shakier ride then BTMR but not nearly as "scary" with turns and drops and such to me.

Yes, but while rides are important they are only part of DLR. Did you see a fireworks show? Fantasmic? Parades? Disney Electrical Parade at DCA? DEP is gone now but we have World of Color. And then what about Billy Hill and the Hillbillies and other smaller shows? Did you stop to see any characters? Did you take any kids to Jedi Training Academy (and have to see the show multiple times waiting for your kid to get chosen)? Princess Fantasy Faire? Pixie Hollow? Did you wait in line to see any princesses? Winnie the Pooh? Did you visit DTD? How many restaurants did you eat at? Any character meals? :wizard:

If one wants to see fireworks, Fantasmic and World of Color that will take three days there. Just for the major shows. Yes, it is possible to do fireworks and Fantasmic on the same night. Depends on size of the group and whether you have any kids that can stay up that late.

Bottom line IMO is that three days is the absolute minimum to visit DLR and four days is better. But you will not see it all. If you are the type that comes lates each day, does not use Magic Mornings effectively, does not know how to use FP, etc., etc., then five or more days would be a good idea.

:)

Yea, that was only DL, not DCA. That also included sit down dinner at Blue Bayou, reserved seating for Fantasmic! and watching the fireworks. We didn't catch a lot of the smaller shows or the parade (had seen if before), but I still think we managed to get a lot done in day, I was proud of how much we did

I would agree, the more time the better, I would say three days as a minimum but more likely four. Hydroguy knows his stuff from everything i have read of his.
