Does anyone have any suggestions on how many days it would take to do Universal Studios? We are going in May 2004 to WDW for 6 nights and afterwards going to Universal Studios we were thinking 4 days since we do not have to stay in a hotel we have family that we are staying with when we go to Universal Studios we are staying at the All-Star Movies for WDW. Is 4 days long enough to enjoy all of Universal Studios?

Four days should be plenty to do both parks. We usually plan for 3 days and keep one day open if we decide to go back to something we've missed or want to visit a second time. Have fun!

I guess your staying with family, but at least think about staying at one of the Universal hotels to gain the "Front of Line Access" at the themeparks. We just got back from a convention I had at the Hard Rock Hotel and we did every single attraction and rode every ride from 2-5 times during our 2 1/2 days for both Islands of Adventure and Universal studios. You can easily do both parks in 2-days with the "Front of Line Access". Wait times for rides were all under 10 minutes, and the majority were walk on. The wait times for none hotel guests without "Express Pass" were between 45-75 minutes on most rides including the kiddie rides in Suess Landing. To me it's well worth the extra money to stay onsite.

Have a Good Time.....

We stayed for four days and believe me, that was plenty!! We stayed at HR so we had that easy access which made the world of difference!:smooth:

i went in march this year and i spent a day at universal and a day at islands of adventure.
we got most of the rides done.

i would have liked to have visited the hard rock hotel though

Thank You i think we might think about staying onsite with a 5 year old and a 2 year old standing in line for 45-75 min. will not be easy. Are there rides that my 5 year old and 2 year old can ride?

You can do each park in a day. In the Summer you will find it hard work as standing in line is never fun but the lines are a bit quieter if you can visit in May and September.

Most of the rides at universal studios have no height limits. A lot of the rides at IOA do have height limits and there's always Nicolodeon Studios, which the kids love!

I think 4 days would be plenty, especially in May when the weather is not that HOT. We are staying onsite for FOTL and convenience to the parks, plus we really like the RPR. We also purchased the 5 day passes which I am thrilled about. We are having a heat wave here in NY (wasn't I complaining about non stop rain and 60 degree temperatures just last week?) which is just a reminder to me why the 5 day passes will be so great. That Florida heat in summer can be unbearable sometimes. We are planning on only spending a few hours each day in each park during either early morning or evenings. May shouldn't be too hot though.
