How long will it take to tour SW?
How long for BGT?
How is the food?
Anyone have any suggestions? All are welcome.

Here's a whole thread that will answer your question... or at least give you some ideas/opinions.

Food is decent, typical theme park food. The BBQ place is pretty good, I don't recall the name of it. Be sure to eat at off peak times to avoid long waits for food.

In one day you can see almost all of the park. Arrive 1/2 hour before stated opening time to ensure you can do the major attractions. We always return at some time on our Holiday to see Shamu Rocks America the night show. Well worth it.

:)

SWF takes about a day and a half to see.
BGT can be done in one day.

The key to visiting the parks is to arrive early each morning.
For SWF, show up at 08:30am, they open at 9am, then you can do JTA, and Kracken before the crowd shows up. After that, it's just getting to the shows 20 minutes early. Do the walk thru for the Polar Bear tour, don't ride the simulator, it will make you sick.
For BGT, drive over early in the morning, again arrive at 08:30am. If you go after May 21st, Sheikra will be open, do that first, then you can continue going clockwise to Kumba, and Montu.
For each park, eat lunch at 11:30am to avoid long lines of hungry people.
On your 3rd day, go back to SWF in the morning and do stuff you missed.

I've read that Sea World is still doing the 2nd day free tickets. You could get everything done in one day, but with a 2nd day free, you wouldn't have to be as rushed. We're going in October and are excited to count on at least going back for a half day on the 2nd day free thing. Even if we get everything done the first day, it would be fun to go back and ride Kraken and JTA again!

We had 7 day tickets to SW with our DC admission. We only spent about 1/2 day at SW. We had gone about two years ago and didn't find anything else that we really wanted to see. We did want to see the whale show, but the whales were on strike for the first show of the day. They did not want to perform and refused to move away from the gate area. So the show was very limited. My husband and son did JTA twice and didn't want to do Kraken. After going to DC on Saturday and then going to SW on Monday was boring.

Wow, I find that odd. Usually it's fun to feed the dolphins again after seeing them at DC.

If you didn't see it, my BGT Sheikra page is here with pictures of the smokehouse. I even took pictures of the menus. Great food, you gotta try it.

We just got back on Sunday from SW and WDW. We ddi SW first as it can be seen in almost one day. We did get a second day free with our ticket if you come back within 7 days. We got to SW around 2pm we had to pay $8 for parking and there are trams that will take you from the car to front of the park. We then had to add the second day to the ticket which requires everyone to be together as you will get your picture taken. Most of the shows are so that you can't go from one to another. Shamu fills up fast and you may have no choice but the splash zone! The Shamu Rocks america at night is great it is better than the daylight show. The dolphin shiow was jsut 10 minutes, the Clyde and Seamore sealion show isn ot too be missed. We also fed the sealions for $3 for I think 6 fish. The white birds in the sealion happitat are very agressive and will try to take you fish from you. Atlantis my husband said was good but not great like Splash Mt. Kraken he really liked but they second day we were there they had problems with it and had to evacuate people from it! We did not do wild artic. The shark encounter was really neat with great white swimming right over your head!. There is a Manatee exhibit and alligator which they are just floating in the water. Most of them have been rescued. There is a dolphin feeding exhibit which looked nice. The budwiser building is really nice and they give samples of free beer! Go through the building to see the bud Donkey! Shamu is a realy great show and they call the whales Shamu! There are several old fair arcade cames whic range from $3-5 and sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. Feeding the sealion and these cames can add up quick! I think my hubby and I spent around $25 just on that. Seaworld does not have many places to cool off unlike WDW where most exhibits are in the A/C so it was really hot! They want you to but the water fans which you can something simila without the lanyard for $2 at Target or $16 at SW~ Water is about $2 and cokes are about $2.50 they have a kids meal but only PB and Jelly. You can do SW in one day if you get there when it opens 2 1/2 days is what we did. If you get on either Kraken or Atlantis you will have to look you stuff in a locker which will cost .50. We had a great time but I think I would rather see theis in the fall when it was cooler.
