How many days before

get there for a booked vacaction with Deluxe dining can we down grade to the regular dining? We are reconsidering the deluxe plan. We were there over memorial day weekend and we ended up leaving a counter service behind. We were on the regular plan.

I just started thinking with the heat and if we sleep in at all we won't be eating 3 full meals a day. I figured we could use the $1200 extra we were paying for the deluxe plan could pay for the MNSSHP and whatever meals/snacks we want.

So if I down grade now, and I freak out at the last moment how many days do I have to do it before arriving?

I sure hope I am making sense when asking the ???

At least 72 hours before your arrival date. But youll want to do it sooner if you want that money refunded back to your credit card in time for your trip

And I am not sure how that will even come into play since you are downgrading and on a package.
Just call Disney/TA and ask and do it ASAP if that is what you want to do.

Actually if you downgrade within 45 days of arrivale theres a $50 change fee and another $10 if done within 14 days of arrival

So if I downgrade now and change my mind later I can add it up to 72 hours?? I don't think I will change my mind see we decided we are going to use the extra money we paid for deluxe dining to got to the MNSSHP

Technically you can upgrade at the front desk but expect to wait about an hour as the desk calls the call center and has to speak with guest services to add it
