How Many Cruises In One Year?

12 month period is 4 for 24 nights
calendar year is 3 for 17 nights

I went on four Disney Cruises in one year. A 14-day Transatlantic Cruise on Magic, 2-day cruise to nowhere on Wonder, 7-day Mexican Rivera on Wonder and a 5-day Pacific Cruise on Wonder. This year I have two cruises scheduled; Maiden Voyage on the Fantasy and 4-day cruise on the Dream.

In a single 12 month period we've done 3 (May 2011, Sept 2011, Feb 2012). But my son, who is only 2yrs and 3 months old has been on 4 cruises so far. We joke that he will be "gold" before he can even spell it.

On our 1/29 MR cruise I met the sweetest lady while standing in line to change to first seating. She was lovely! She has been on 34 DCL cruises. She's soon going to be on the ship 32 days in a row with Hawaii/transition/etc.etc. cruises in a row. All the cast members call her Mom. She was traveling alone. It was such a joy to stop by and chat with her whenever I saw her. "Delightful" describes her. She looks like Mrs. Santa Claus.

She had already booked 2 more cruises during that week while onboard. I saw her after the "pub skit" in Wavebands the last day at sea. She said she played bingo earlier and won the jackpot $5,000.00. She went right out to future cruise desk and bought two more!

Yes, I told her I would be her daughter/traveling partner/lady in waiting/her personal runner to Deck 9's drink station....

We have four booked for 2012 and four booked in 2013. Three in 2011 and five in 2010.

We have done 3 7+ days...ALWAYS do Easter week and we did a BTB -Baltic and relocation to Barcelona 2 years ago. Did Easter week and Alaska last year...this year will only be Easter week on the Fantasy...but we will have done WDW, DL, DLP, DCL and ABD in the same calendar year !

6 in one year this year 5 cruises planned getting me to 49. Will have to wait til 2013 for #50 in January.

In a calendar year: 2011 we did 6, back to backs on all three ships.
In a 12 month period: 8 the six we did in 2011 plus 2 more on the Magic at the end of 2010.
Shame we never want to sail on the Dream again. Otherwise we'd shoot for b2bs on all 4 ships in a year. Can't wait until we retire and can cruise whenever we want. I'm sure we'll easily set a new personal best then.

Last year we managed three: 3 night Dream early on, 7 night Magic and 5 night Dream late summer. That isn't likely going to happen again.

We have 1 per year scheduled for this and next year; an eastern on Fantasy and a Med on Magic

We managed 4 on the Dream in one year - including the maiden voyage!

That was a rare year for us. usually it is 1 per year.

In one calendar year (Jan-Dec) it would be 3:

a 12 night Eastern Med on RCI and 7 nights Western Meds on DCL and RCI.

In one 12 month period it would be four--the above plus a 7 night Western Med on Celebrity. It was a GOOD year

In 2010, we did 4 on the Dream. I don't think that will ever happen again with the price increases.

In a Dream maybe you did 4 in 2010! On the Dream would have to have been in 2011!

We are looking at 4 August to August:

• 3 Night on the Dream (Aug. '11--Bahamas)
• 4 Night on the Dream (Aug/Sept. '11--Bahamas)
• 7 Night on the Magic (March '12--Western)
• 7 Night on the Wonder (Aug. '12--Alaska)

Three on DVC points which makes it possible to do so many.

We will be doing 3 this year for sure, with the possibility of a 4th if things work out.
For sure:
Dream 3-Night completed in January
Dream 5-night double dip in June (PCC 3.0)
Fantasy 7-night western in December (PCC 4.0)

Being considered:
Fantasy 7-night Eastern in the fall if I can get a good price and work it around my other plans.

April/May - LA/Vancouver w/1st Alaska (Wonder)

I was really impressed with my 4 in a 12 month period until I started reading some of these posts!!!

I'm just glad one of the four will be on the new DCL FANTASY!!
