How Many Cruises In One Year?

4 on the Dream in 2011 if we go by calendar year but they were all quickies & 1 b2b:
March 3 nt (just dh & I)
Sept 3 nt
Nov 3 & 4 nts b2b

If we go by Nov 2010-Nov 2011, it would be 5 to include our Nov 2010 7 nt Western on the Magic. I guess technically that would be 13 mos.

This year: 3.
(Alaska is close in $ to our 5 nt Spring Break cruise on the Dream + our Nov b2b combined.)

Next year: probably just 1: Med. 7 nt.

So here I go rambling on again.

4 and that's my final answer. :lmao:

PP, I'd love to hear from MJ too! :scratchin

We couldn't get away in 2010 so we made up for it last year with three cruises, a total of 39 days. Hope to spend even more daze at sea after DH is retired. Right now he's just tired.

I need to retire so I can keep up with some of you.:goodvibes

The most we've done is 3 in 2011, Panama Canal cruise on the Wonder and B2B on the Dream.

This year will be 4 for me! pirate: We love cruising! Pirate:

April 2012 5 night Dream
July 2012 NCL 7 night Gem
August 2012 2 night Magic
Jan 2013 3 night Dream

We did three in calendar year 2011--Feb. 6, 4-night Dream, Nov. 26, 7-night Magic, Dec. 4, 4-night Dream, for a total of 15 nights.

In 2012 we will take two cruises--June 10 5-night Canada and Dec. 9, 14 night Eastbound Panama Canal for a total of 19 nights.

Hopefully in the summer of 2013 we will have one Bahamas cruise and one Alaska cruise, but not sure yet!

Beth

We have done one cruise in any given year we've cruised. And if I had enough money to go on two or more cruises in one year, I would go on one.

For me there is way too many fun and exciting places to go and see. We have Ireland coming up in less than five months and I can't wait. For the cost of this trip for DW and I; we could take at least three cruises.

Our next cruise is reserved for the fall of 2013. A seven night western. But we may push it out to 2014 and head to Vancouver.

Have a great time!! Dh & I went there for our honeymoon. You will love it esp if you have Irish roots. There is a town that is same as our last name. So of course we had to go there and stand next to the sign that says Welcome to B______. Don't miss Ashford Castle or the Waterford Factory if you like crystal.
So many times we have considered returning as a family trip. I know my kids would appreciate the beauty & history but the food was even hard for me to take so I know ds would exist on bread there or burgers/fries. They can take a beautiful piece of filet mignon and ruin it by boiling it. :scared1::sick: Then there's offerings like kidney pie. Dh had no issues so it's probably just us.
I'd still rather do the Med cruise; it's the most affordable way I can take my kids to Italy & honor my Italian half. ;)

Have an awesome trip! :goodvibes :cool1:
