I did the same thing gained about 5,000 and spent 6,000....I got one of my girls the pan hat she's been wanting (if you ask me it's ugly..lol) and a jolly roger/tink pin for myself.

I'm so burnt on fireworks, but I know I better play it up before they change the scoring system.

That's why I set a daily goal to reach. My new goal is at least 6,000 per day.
Even though the other day I spend 5,000 on lightcycles, I still had to have my gain of 6,000. So, I had to end up getting 11,000 that day. And I did it.
Your goal is to gain. Not lose. So if you spend credits, you have to make them up.

I can guarantee that there will be some sort of furniture and pins to buy as well as the costumes listed. So don't just plan on enough just for costumes.

Yeah. This has brought out all the really good players. I had to finally give up on fireworks. I kept getting booted out in the 3rd or 4th round.

I definitely experienced a first for me Tuesday night... I got bumped out of fireworks, just before the fifth round. My score that made me get bumped? Almost 201,000.

I'm quite proud of myself. I've gotten less real-life work done than I'd have liked, but I made a nice dent in my VMK work. That's what really matters, right? Last Thursday night just before close I had 4,000 credits. By Friday night, I had a little over 33,000 and right now I have 70,080. And that was after I only managed one measly game and an NPC/music/music mix run Monday right before the game closed. Wednesday will be a partial Fireworks marathon day, and Friday will be maybe an all-day marathon. Once this is all over, I'm taking a break from fireworks for as long as I can get by with it.

And special thanks to a DL AP holder friend (she's a member here, but I don't think she's posted in a long time) for sending me several Explorer Tent Codes to help me out (since they sell for 2,000 credits each). I've used one so far, and will use the others soon.


ETA: Since I already got my 30,000 goal and I saw what I can do, I'm shooting for 250,000 credits by Sunday night. Probably way over stretching it because my time is limited, but I shall try, anyhow.

JMO but fireworks definitely is the easiest way to go for credits...at least for me. I did end up playing with some major talent yesterday. Everybody going into last round had over 200,000 points and we all stopped at around 240,000. Luckily I came in third.

I am sooooooooooo rusty at fireworks I have been booted at the 3rd round.... believe it or not!!!

But I am getting back into the swing of it.... And I will be sandbagging... which I dont like to do, but need to do....

Um...yeah, about that. Beginning yesterday, you may have seen me race for the "just above 240,000" spot a couple of times, so....sorry! But hey, if I'm having an awesome game and can still make it onto the high scores list, I might just not stop. I know...terrible. Can we still be friends?

I actually had a girl in the lobby tell me I was going to get banned for stopping at 240K She also called me "wrong" and said I was a cheater. I guess we co-habitate in cheaterville together Amber

I told her I'd quit stopping when they start giving you more credits for winning

Boy I feel like a newbie!! I only have 32500 credits as of today. I have a few offers to spend some but hopefully i will make up for it by the 1st. That fireworks thing is becoming more and more controversial. I had someone get upset with me too for stopping just above 240,000. But that takes skill too. Its almost as fun to see who can stop closer to the 240,000 mark. To me, if they didn't want you to do that then they wouldn't give you 1000 credits instead of the 350, it would be the other way around. But i guess thats me stating the obvious. Can't wait to spend my credits next month!!

I have 300,000 credits as of last night in my inferno fund. Im offering as much as I have for inferno,. lol I will probably spend some on Halloween but keep working towards my goal. I will keep going as high as I have to get someone to sell me inferno.

I earn 99.9% of my credits on Pirates. I dont even bother with NPC points any more since I earn so much in pirates.

Actually, I believe, from a comment from Yavn on another site, that the real purpose of the way the credits are given is to discourage people from using some sort of cheat to get the highest score.
Of course, it doesn't discourage those same people of using those cheats to stop at 240,004.

13K right now, no particular goal in mind, just as many as I can get between now and when the costumes start releasing next week.

I'm impressed by some of those credit numbers. I'm a stay at home mom and feel like I'm on quite a bit and I still don't rack up those kind of numbers.
