I have three. A 7 year old and 4 year old twins. I wanted 3. My husband wanted 2, but he says I kinda tricked him into having 3 with twins:p . How about you?

When I was younger I wanted 4.....but then I had my kids at 35 & 39 so I was lucky I got my two. :)

When I was a kid I always dreamed of having 6, just like the Brady bunch. Then I grew up and really wanted to have two, but after 10-12 years of trying I was only blessed with one and I am ever so thankful that I have him.

I have 2 boys 15 & 16................I would have loved to also have had 2 girls, but that was not possible, I am very fortunate to have my boys & am very thankful for them

I always wanted a girl & a boy. Instead, I have 4 boys. :) I wouldn't change it for the world. :)

I told my husband before we were married that I wanted 6. We have 4 (one set of twins), and that's enough!

We had said definitely 2, possibly 3. We have 2. Needless to say they are a handful so that stopped us right there. Plus I had trouble conceiving #2 and I dont want to go through that again.

When I was younger I wanted 4 boys. I had one and got divorced. Now I'm glad I only have 1...he's enough of a handful and I don't think I'd have patience for more.

Always wanted 4, 2 boys and 2 girls but mother nature isn't cooperating so we are blessed with 1 beautiful little girl and will be blessed again in 2008 with another girl.....

Just to clarify i adopted and will adopt again so we know when we will be blessed again

I never thought numbers or boy/girl...just knew that I wanted to have children with the love of my life and we are overjoyed with our 2 DDs.

Wanted two... one of each... God graciously blessed me with just that! When DS was born (child #2) I was flabbergasted when they announced he was a boy.... I couldn't believe I was so lucky to have one of each on just two attempts!..............P

We originally said between 2 and 6, depending. Then we had two, wanted more than two, were convinced 2 was our number, and got #3! DH would still like a fourth, but the clock is ticking and I think a fourth would push me over the edge--I'm teetering there now!

But I think it's like that song, "I never cared for brown eyes, but you have brown eyes, and brown eyes are my weakness now!", or however it goes--you have to be happy with what you got. I never wanted a big gap between siblings, either, but now I see there are good things to that, too.

I wanted 3. DH wanted one. We have 2. THey are 7 years apart :)
That is plenty.
