How many can be in a two BR Villa

Looking at our trip for next year to AKV. There are 4 in my family and another family of 4 may be coming along. Wondering if 4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 10 would fit comfortably in a 2 BR villa. Any information would be great! Also, has anyone stayed in the 2BR villa Concierge level. We have never stayed CL but curious if it is worth the extra points. TIA!

I think the group you described could easily fit in a 2BR villa. I've stayed in a dedicated 2BR at Kidani with 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 3, 5, 10, and 15) and we were quite comfortable.

We prefer the rooms at Kidani over those in Jambo House. The third full bathroom, especially when travelling with teens, is very useful.

As for the CL category, we've never stayed there. Some people love the additional options (exclusive safaris, food options throughout the day, etc.), but others feel as if these extras aren't worth the increased cost.

King sized bed in Master. Pull out sofa (Queen or full), Pull out chair for one.

Now if its a dedicated 2br, you have two queen beds. If it is a lockoff, you get a king sized bed with a pull out sofa.

Yes, it will work just fine at AKV. Your family would use the master and living room, and your guest family could use the 2nd bedroom which will have 1 queen bed and one full sized pull out sofa bed. That is if you are staying AKV-CL or any Jambo villa. If you are staying at Kidani, you could request a dedicated 2 bedroom and have 2 queen beds in the second bedroom instead of the pull out. The living room will always have a queen pullout bed plus a twin pullout chair.

Eight people will fit, but you may be a bit squished. Someone will have to sleep in the living room.

Personally, I think that concierge is worth the extra points for breakfast and snacks, but the views are pretty crappy.

The sleeper sofa in the living room is queen sized. The chair is about twin sized. Not all 2 bedroom villas have the sleeper chair.
