How many beds are there in a studio at SSR

I'm sure I read that there is only 1 bed in a studio room, but when I look on the Disney website it shows pics of two queen beds.

Can anyone confirm whether there are 2 bed studios, by that I mean 2 beds in 1 room or is it just a sofa bed and a proper bed. My DS is too big for a sofa bed, and I'd like him to sleep in a proper bed for 2 weeks.

I know the rooms at OKW have 2 beds in them as we have stayed there before.

Just one bed in a studio at ssr and a bed settee which pulls out to a queen size (uk double)

We chose OKW as it had 2 real beds in a studio

I can't vouch for all the studio rooms but the one's I've stayed in had 1 King sized bed (at least I think it was King sized) and a sofa that was also a pull out bed.

To the OP, if you really need 2 full beds I'd stay at OKW. Given a choice I'd go for OKW anyway!

Thanks everyone, I thought SSR rooms only had 1 bed as I had looked at it before.

Not that keen on OKW since I found a frog in my room the last time we stayed there. I still have nightmares about it now, thank god we found it before lights out. Imagine it crawling across your face when you're asleep. If ever we stay at OKW again, then it will be a top floor room for us. Other than the frog, I loved it there.

I wonder why they didn't put 2 beds into the SSR rooms.

OKW is the only DVC resort with 2 beds in a studio (it was also the first DVC).

The sofabeds are really good in the DVC resorts. DD sleeps in them and they are as big as normal bed.

I wouldn't have thought SSR is immune to things in the room either. In various rooms we have come across lizzards & roaches, OKW we have had frogs & snakes outside the room but never inside yet. We always go for upstairs rooms in any hotel, my only request I have at check in.

Agreed.

We got Geckos in our room on two of our stays at SSR. We're lizard people though (we keep snakes) so we just picked them up and put them outside.

Tip to keep creepy crawlies out off room.Have air con as low as you can.As most are cold blooded they avoid cold rooms

Ah that's why we don't see anything inside our studio at OKW, sometimes I feel like sitting in the fridge to warm up DW has it so cold. Can you believe she has had the windows open here today, almost into Nov, myself and Matt put layers on.

it's florida, there is ALWAYS the possibility of creepie crawlie things in the room....if you want to avoid them completely, don't go to florida

this year, we had a terrible infestation of these tiny little gnats...thousands of them...it happened right after they did some very major gardening in the area of our rooms (the soil and shrubs were completely dug up and new shrubs and new soil were put in).....
that night, the ceilings were covered wall to wall with these gnats....we called reception and they immediately sent the pest patrol....these guys work 24 hours/day, so you can imagine how many things they must be dealing with if they're on duty 24/7....

they had to come several days in a row to completely obliterate the little beasties....it was truly gross....yuck....
