i saw a while ago that someone mentioned Disney had messed up when they first furnished the BCV dedicated 2bdrms.
they didn't put 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom, and had to go back and retrofit them.

but, for some reason (i don't get it, why couldn't they fix them all?) there are some dedicated 2bdrms that will just be stuck w/ 1 queen and 1 pullout sofa.

anyway, just wondering if anyone knows exactly how many dedicated 2bdrms were left w/ the 1 queen and 1 pullout config?

There are 25 dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV with 2 queen beds and 53 with a queen bed and a queen pull-out sofa. FYI... the 74 lock-offs all have 1 queen bed and one double pull-out sofa.

so is it more desirable to have the dedicated 2 bedroom with 2 queen size beds in th second bedroom as opposed to one bed and one pullout? When I made my reservations, MS asked which I preferred and I said the one with one bed and one pullout. But now I'm wondering if the bed is more comfortable than the pullout.

Thanks for any help.

they asked me the same question and I asked them if that would affect my room requests of a top floor EPCOT view, and he said that was a good question. He then came back and said that the answer to that question was a definite "yes". There are more dedicated 2 bedrooms with a sofa/pull out than there are D2BR with 2 queens- so I told him that it was the view we were after. And since the 2 queen beds seem to be the most requested, to request the pull out. However, when I got my reservation confirmation, it didn't say anyhitng about a pull out request- so, who knows what I'll get?!?!? Anyway- if your desire for a room location is reater then your desire to a pull out, I would let them know .

thanks for that tip karebear1.....I think I'll stick with the pullout and maybe I'll have a better chance at getting our requested view.

debbiebones.... It really depends, I know my son and daughter would fight over who had to sleep on the pull out sofa so I really wanted two regular beds. If it were a couple both sleeping on the same bed in the 2nd bedroom, it would be kind of nice to have the extra room and the couch.

As far as the view and the queen bed goes. The farthest part of BCV, that is over the canel and has a direct view of Spaceship Earth is only 4 floors in that area. None of the rooms on the 4th floor in that area have 2 queen beds. One of rooms on the 3rd floor of that wing has 2 queen beds. So, I guess you are right, you would be less likely to get that view. There is one really good one on the 5th floor floor that has 2 queen beds and a pretty good Spaceship Earth and Illuminations view.

Thanks TerryS.

I'm thinking that maybe the pullout will be okay since it'll be my 3 and 5 year olds who will be sharing it. I'm thinking since they don't weigh as much, it'll probably be just fine for them.

Thanks again everyone for you input.
