How many BC people are heading to Alaska on DCL this summer?

I couldn't resist the ship being so close to my house and booked for May17th!
We live in the lower mainland. I am actually not overly excited about alaska itself, and I am sure its beautiful, but booked this to get back on the ship with no airfare, hotel nights, etc... Makes for a very affordable vacation! Any others?

My family is flying one way to LA then doing the repositioning cruise on the Disney Wonder from LA up to Vancouver where we will get off the ship and drive back home.

Not quite the same as going on the Alaska cruise, but at least we will be sailing our way home.

I actually enjoy the repositioning cruises much more. We've been on 2 Alaska Cruises and many Repositioning ones and believe me I much prefer a port stop in San Francisco to one in Ketchikan! Alaska is lovely, but much like BC of course. The only thing about repo's though is that the water can be a little rough. Have fun everyone. I'm very jealous!

We are from the Yukon and will be sailing on May 24th. It will be so nice to have a short 2 hours plane trip.
Looking forward to seeing other areas of Alaska. We live pretty close to Skagway. If we took a car down and left it, when we dock at Skagway could run home and get a Timmies
