How many are you expecting to trick or treat at yours tomorrow?

None. I dinna sign up for trick or treaters thus won’t get the colored badge that signifies CANDY.

Probably 15-20. I live in a neighborhood but the lots are all 2-4 acres. So a lot of walking. There aren’t many kids in the neighborhood either. This is the first year neither of my boys will trick or treat. Makes me kinda sad. I have full size Hershey bars to give out. The trick or treaters I do get will hopefully be happy.

Last year on a beautiful evening, we had ~150 kids.
This year, the weather is going to suck…will probably drop down to 40-50. expecting wind, cold, maybe snow. I love to see the costumes, but will be seeing winter jackets instead.

I’m hoping for around 80-100. Last year we had the most and almost ran out of candy. Tonight a cold front is coming thru after several warm days unfortunately.

We used to love to sit on our porch and hand out candy, but we stopped last year because there were too many rowdy teenagers running up to us. It was a bit frightening.

Our neighborhood is all over the place... one year we had 6 to 10 last year we had around 40ish, So I prepare for around 50ish, and when the candy gone it's gone we turn off the light, or if it gets past like 8:30 ish which is a HOA thing, no tricker treating after 8:30... Our tricker treating starts around kinda pretty early around 4:30 we have alot of young families with little kids.. I love the costumes... they are sooo cute.. last year by 7:30 everything was finished.

None. We live on a very remote street with barely any kids. Houses are spread very far apart too.

The most popular street in town is 3 houses away, this year the town is closing it to traffic, friends who live there give out over 1000 pieces of candy, last year my Costco bag was done before dark.

At least around 100. We have a lot of cool outside Halloween decorations so we get a lot and people drive in to trick or treat our neighborhood because a lot of us give out full sized candy. Unless someone doesn’t celebrate because of religion I find it very bah humbug to not give out at least cheap candy. I mean come on, dont be that person. Those same people will be the ones shouting at kids “stay off my lawn!” When they’re old lol

We had around 40, all before even sunset we have alot of really young families with small kiddos. They started like last year at 4:30.. then 2 large groups there were around 15 of them all older elementary school kids, just a bit after sunset... then we were done... I do have some Hershey bars left what a shame.. lol

It was an oddly slow year for us. We have big decorations that are visible from quite a ways away, so it's usually like a candy beacon for trick or treaters. We usually get around 150 kids and they tend to come on the earlier side. This year, we got 50 at most and the vast majority came later. I still have A LOT of candy.

We had our expected 100 or so.

The neighborhood was slammed as usual. By 6pm the pool parking lot was full and cars were parking along all the roads closest to the main entrance.

Unprepared people ran out of candy by 6:30pm.

We live in a great neighborhood, 60+ houses on the street. When we first moved here we'd get over 200 trick-or-treaters.
It's dropped every year, last night only 33 came to the door. 🙁

We had 185 which was really low for us but considering it was 20 degrees with 6” of snow on the ground during trick or treating time it could have been a lot worse.

Final count, 18. The most we've had in at least 15 years. We have 44 houses on my street and only 5 children. One is a board and care home, so no kids there. 32 house on the next street over zero children and one of the houses on that street is a board and care home. Actually they are Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly which by law can have no more than 6 residents, and are located in residential areas in converted houses.
