Hi Folks:

I booked three rooms at RPR using the AP rate. There are 10 of us. How many AP's do I need to purchase?

Thanks

Tim/Hawk

Generally, 1 AP can book two rooms. To be on the safe side, I would give the toll free number a call if you are planning on purchasing your aps ahead of time. If you are just purchasing them when you get there, I would just hold off and see what they say at the desk.

Thanks.

We would like to drive over to US/IOA at about 6:00 pm (we hope the ticket booth will be open that late) on the day before check-in to get all the tickets so we don't get bogged down on check-in day. We are going to try and check in at 7AM then drop our bags at bell service and get over to WOHP. If we are required to have two APs can we just upgrade one of the 2day 2 park tickets at the reservation desk?

Thanks

You can't do it at the reservation desk but you can tell them you are going to do it at guest services. They'll just want you to show it to them before you check out.

Thanks Damo:

Will guest services or the ticket booths be open at park closing. We want to get there the day before to get them.

Thanks

I believe they are open a half an hour before opening and after closing. Other than that, no. Remember that you don't have to have your AP in hand when you check in. You could just tell them that you are picking it up and will show it to them later that day.

When I booked our 2 rooms earlier this week, I was told I need 2 APs...one per room.

Hi I booked through Universal. But we are staying at the Hard Rock, and they are not owned by Lowes any longer.
Maybe I should call the HR and ask them.....IF I don't have to buy a second AP, then that will work for us even better:confused3

I wouldn't buy a second one ahead of time. If they ask for one, then get one at the park.

You can still book the HRH through the Loews website even though you can't get the youfirst benefits.

Just wanted to chime in to day that I e-mailed Universal Studios yesterday (through the link on their site) to ask how many room at HRH I can book with 1 AP. I was hoping for an e-mail response so that I had it in writing should any issue arise. Anyway, today I received a telephone call from "Trevor from Guest Services" advising that I can book 2 rooms at HRH with 1 AP. Trevor advised me that since the AP discount ( I assume he meant to purchase park tickets) applies to up to 6 people and that Florida..... code state that 6 people cannot stay in one room, you can book 2 rooms with 1 AP ( in order to accommodate 6 people if required). This is obviously not exactly how he said it, but that was the gist it. Long story short, like others have said, you can book 2 rooms with 1 AP

Thanks for checking that out Hemlock. We will have two AP holders, but will be ready to have another if necessary. :thumbsup2

I called the HRH and spoke with reservations. She read the AP requirements. one AP (Adult or child) is required for each room.
Since we are planning on going to Seaworld and possible Aquatica, we will be buying Flex Tickets for the kids...If we don't need to buy an additional AP then we would buy 3 flex tickets and then only need to buy 1 AP (and additonal tickets for SW/Aquatica for the Ap holder).
I am planning on buying them from Undercover Tourist as they have the best price I can find for the FlexTicket. Since we will be using the Flextickets on the first leg of our trip, I need to know in advance how many AP we will need to purchase because that affects the other tickets....
Has anyone else reserved 2 rooms with just one AP?
Obvoiusly, if we only have to buy 1 AP then we save more $$$ overall....

I just called the 1-800 number and was told that 1 APH could get the discount for 2 rooms. In addition, the annual pass holder in our group is an 18 yo FL resident, so I wanted to know if he could get us the discount. They said that as long as there is someone 21 or older in each room, the 18 yo's discount would be good. I'm still skeptical when I hear people receiving different responses to the same question, however!

That has been our experience and we have been going at least twice a year for the past 10 years. We've also only had to show our APs once in all those years.

How much is an AP? Where do I buy one? What are the perks? Is it an actual ticket to the parks as well? Can you park hop between Universal and IOA? UNlimited days in the parks?
