I'm going March 18-27..9 nights. It'll be just dd 6 and myself.

I have booked a lot of adrs and am trying to decide if it's too many, if I should buy Tables in Wonderland or would be better off adding the dining plan.

some adrs we have are:
Cinderella's royal table dinner
crystal palace breakfast
cape may cafe breakfast
storybook dining dinner
cinderella's happily ever after dinner
coral reef (still iffy on this one)
flying fish cafe
supercalafragilistic breakfast

would like to book:
artist point
boma breakfast
le celier
not sure if I can get those or how dd would feel about them.

I wonder if I'm overbooking. We ARE going to be there for 9 nights, so we have time to do this stuff. I just want to make out the best $$wise for the food. What do you think?
I think Deluxe dining plan would be too much, but regular dining plan wouldn't cover all our table services.

I think the dining plan, even w/a premium fee tacked on, would be a good idea. I also think 1 table service a day is plenty, so to me you are overbooking. Even though you have 9 days, it will be crowded, so everything will probably take longer than you think....touring the parks, waiting for a table and dining, transport, etc.

I did a mother/daughter trip w/my dd and it was wonderful.....we did the dining plan and did a character meal a day! We also needed plenty of time for the afternoon swim!

Have a great trip!

We went in early June on our first trip with kids 6 and 7. for 11 nights I found that one ADR a day was manageable, but two would have been a lot of sitting and waiting. And a lot of time away from the parks and swimming.
We did do two meals on our "break day" that we reserved for swimming and relaxing. That was nice. And then we just did two table services at Animal Kingdom rather than a sit down meal.

The thing I loved about character meals was that we got a lot of interaction without having to wait in lines at the parks.
I'd suggest the regular dining plan, and either book one a day (less one if you decide to do CRT), and then plan out of pocket dining for one meal.
Also, in planning your ADRS, you also want to think about location. You can spend a lot of time travelling all over just to get ADRS, and it's so much nicer just to eat where you are planning on being for that day. Or close to it. (Grand floridian on a Magic Kingdom day, etc).
