how many 1/2 price DC meals do you plan on during trip to US?

How many 1/2 DC did you get ?
how many are you using per day?


I am asking this because I am wondering if it is a pain to try to get to City Walk from the Hard Rock Hotel or is it easy?
If I am at US how long would it take for me to get to one of the restaurants at City Walk?

I have a DC already for the Kitchen, but that one is only for lunch as many of you already know

It is definitely not a pain to walk from HRH to Citywalk. It will take you 5-10 minutes depending on which restaurant you are walking to. Very, very easy walk! And you are in Citywalk when you walk out of US or IOA. We are staying 5 nights in May and I have certificates to Hard Rock Cafe, Motown Cafe, and the Nascar Cafe. I am hoping to get one for Margaritaville if they offer them. I would love to get one for NBA City too but I haven't heard anyone say they have ever been offered.

We are only staying 3 days/nights. I bought GCs for Pastamore, The Kitchen, and HRC.

Using The Kitchen one will be easy, as we will be going back to the resort for lunch/rest/swim in the afternoons anyway (and it's a $50 certificate). We will have Pastamore for dinner when leaving the parks one night (also only one $50 certificate), and the same with HRC (two $25s) We will use the other $25 HRC certificate to order "to go" on the way back from the parks on the last night for munchies (gonna order bunch of their appetizers to take back to the hotel)

What a way to save!!

The Universal Parks, hotels and Citywalk are all very close, not spread out over acres like the Disney parks. You can walk it in 5-10 mins. or you can take a water taxi.

You will find that everything is within about a 10 minute walk from the HRH. While we were there this past week I had the certificates for Hard Rock (2 $25) and one for Motown (1 $50). We were at the HRH for 4 nites, and used the Hard Rock GC's for lunch twice. We ate our dinners at Margaritaville, Pastamore, Motown (didn't really care for this restaurant) and lunches at Mythos, Confisco's Grill & Hard Rock.... You can also order lunch or dinner while lounging at the pool........

I am glad to know it is not a really long walk - with baby, 7 yr old, and grumpy hubbie who hates the heat.

I will probably get some more certificates for the Kitchen. It is really good to know that I can take these items to go as well for I like to eat in the room some times!

I have hard rock (actually the 2 $25), the $50 for pastrome and th $50 for latin quarter. will get margaritaville if offered before we go in May. Sad that I missed the palm before I knew about this. that is my DH's favorite.

I hope Margaritaville will come up as well.

They are not offering any summer ones but its my understanding they will be offering more in the fall.
