How lucky to be in the first group to stay at the VGF DVC that opened today.

That will work. The room is beautiful isn’t it? We loved it.
Indeed. Kind of having buyers remorse on the points we added on at SSR earlier in the year. Wishing a bit that we had done it here.

ETA: We added on a week before they put vgf2 on sale so we had no idea of the closeness in $$$ until it was too late.

Depending on what you like to do when you are there SSR has Disney Springs and the some of the best restaurants in all of Disney. we are older folks and MK is not usually the park of choice for us, Epcot and Animal Kingdom is and its about the same transportation ride from both properties. SSR is much quieter and spread out where VGF is kinda crouded. Both properties have their good points but SSR is also a nice property especially if you request and get a view of the water and Disney Springs. You will sit out on your patio all the time your in your room.

Also need to mention, there is not an Iron and an Ironing board in the room. There is a hand held steamer in the closet.

Looks amazing! The microwave really changes my opinion on this… still have young ones so being able to fix some small things in the room is still pretty important! Glad they are adding them!

The rooms look beautiful!

Can you see the Electrical Water Pageant from the lagoon view rooms?

I am reading from those staying here that all the microwaves have been added to the rooms.

Ok maybe this is a minor thing, and didn’t read through to see if it’s been mentioned, but what is the purpose of even having a couch if it’s positioned that way with the TV? It has no functionality. Should have just put a Murphy bed there because no one is certainly watching TV. Odd design. Pretty room though.

Because that's where they could fit it. Without the couch, the resort studio only sleeps 4. If it only sleeps 4, they cannot charge as many points as they do for a deluxe studio. If the resort studio point chart was lower, they couldn't sell as many points and there goes their profit!
