We are going to try to head straight there for rope drop...assuming we go straight there, how long before we are out? The reason Im asking is to figure out if I could make a 10:00 Little mermaid show. I know no one can guarantee a time but just opinions would be appreciated.

It should only take a few minutes. If you are slow walkers, at most it would be a 20 minute wait.

As long as the ride is running & you are there before RD to get in I would think fairly quickly. They don't open the single rider right away & FP don't start right at park opening either so it moves along quickly. You may even be able to ride more than once depending on crowd level & how fast you are.

Oh come on!! Thats wonderful! Here I am thinking it may take over an hour to do! We are very fast walkers and plan to be there 10 mins before 9 and bolting straight there...Seems like we should be golden by 9:30! Perfect!! Thanks to all!

Also it sounds from reports that HS is doing "interior" rope drops again (correct me if Im wrong please - I havent experienced it recently), letting folks get onto the streets pre opening. If you get there just before opening you will be behind everybody already on the street. If you are inside the park at RD you should be able to get to and through quickly.

Edit: Looks like the rope drop lets you clear to Planet Hollywood store at 845.

When we did this in February, we were in line for the ride by 9:05 by the time we got through the tapstiles, and we were out before 9:30. You should be fine :cutie:But yes, keep in mind that they don't usually let people into the parks at opening time, but usually more like 15 minutes before then. So if you really want to guarantee a quick turn-around, be in line to enter the park well before 9:50, as there will be large groups of people trying to enter at that point in time, and the lines will hold you back quite a bit, despite how fast you all walk!

FP+ does start at park opening. The first return time is the first hour the parks are open.

I thought they delayed 15 minutes? Learn something new. I have never seen one sooner than 10-15 minutes after the open time.
