How long will Disney be selling BLT?

do they have alot of BLT to sell yet?
we are waiting to buy, but do not want to wait so long that they are no longer selling BLT. ( we are saving up what we are hoping to be a big down payment)

I suspect that BLT will be selling for a couple of years before it's 'sold out'. I believe that only about 30% of the units have been declared into inventory so far. They can only sell points that have been declared.

The amount of time any resort sells is variable. Depends upon size and location of the resort.

I have been reading the threads and alot of people are saying they are going to buy BLT because they kept telling themselves they weren't going to buy until there was a DVC with monorail connections.

Also Disney is offering some great incentives for new members, add-ons for current members, and additional discounts to new members with a current member referral. There is a thread on here about the incentives and also a place that the people that sponsor these boards can be contacted for use as a referral so that you can get the new member w/ referral incentives. (I wouldn't give you my info just because I think the people that have been sharing their knowledge of Disney for all these years should get the credit.)

For what it's worth, we toured in March, 2009 and our Guide said that BLT was about 40% sold out. However, once BLT sells out, there will always be a resale market so it's not as if once it sells that there won't be any points available. Either way, best of luck as you begin your DVC shopping journey.

No reflection on you but you'd be surprised what I'd be willing to bet that BLT is not only not 40% sold out but actually is nowhere near 40% sold out, relatively speaking.

I completely agree - I was floored when he told me that, but, because we were buying in, I didn't really look further into it other than to just file it away in my memory....
