How long will cheesecake last?

Does anyone know how long cheesecake will last in the refrigerator? I made one on Monday and there is still quite a bit left. I don't want it to go to waste. I'd rather give it away to someone rather than throw it out.

It's the traditional Polish cheesecake with graham cracker crust, cream cheese and sour cream on top? Sounds yummy huh? Any takers!

Same as the other posters: not too long here. I would imagine you could freeze it though.

It should last for at least a week. You can freeze it also, they freeze and defrost really well.

I would imagine you could freeze it though.

I agree, be careful thawing it out. But if you want to be on the safe side you can pass it my way.

Slice it and freeze it - I actually will buy a presliced one and immediately put it in the freezer as I am the only 1 in the house that eats it. I take it out by the slice when I get the craving and it thaws wonderfully. Unthawed in the fridge I've eaten it a week later and it still tasted great

I agree with the idea of freezing individual slices. Perfect for a snack later. You don't even have to defrost them.

If you prefer to keep it in the fridge it should be OK for a week or so. After that I'd think about tossing it.
