How long to recieve documents?

We bought over the phone for AKL on Sept. 13...apparently they mailed the documents to us, but we still have not received anything. Is this a normal timeframe? How long does it usually take to get your documents? I'm anxious to get this thing finalized. Anybody have any recent experience with this? Thanks.

Perhaps that is why....

I was quite happy with the fast process! I had 2 "rewrites" and Member Administration was quite good in expediting requests!

Quite happy with the entire process except the way the credit of $8 per point is presented in the letter of balance due...

I mentioned to Member Accounting/Member Administration that the presentation is quite confusing..The letter of balance due did not take into account the $8 per point credit...

Mute point now..closed AKV Kidani end of last week!

Yes, we live in Mexico. Perhaps that is why we haven't received them yet. My guide is off today, but I think I will call him tomorrow and find out what's up. He told me they would just be sent regular mail, which seems a bit "dumb" for international mailings...would be nice to be able to trace them and see where they are. Has anybody else who's "international" had any issues receiving their documents?

We have always received our documents via Fedex.

I don't know about sending to Mexico but would think one of the major carriers (UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc) would offer service there. I've never had any legal documents from them sent via regular first-class mail.

I would definitely call your guide. If you had purchased BLT I would attribute it to the flood of new purchases but with an AKV purchase it should arrive within a week.

O.K....thanks everyone...will definitely call my guide tomorrow...you'd think in over 2 weeks we would have received them.

Our guide also said they are slowed down due to the new DVC opening.

Well...I sent my guide an email yesterday, knowing he wouldn't be in until today. He sent me an email immediately upon arriving today and said that for some reason the documents were still there.??? Anyhow, he said they were being Fedexed to me today, so we should be recieving them shortly. Glad I asked you guys and found out that they do Fedex them promptly...thanks everyone!
