How long to merge reservations?

When you request to have reservations merged, about how long does it take before it's done? I recently put in a request via chat to merge 3 reservations I made (days 1-3, then 4-9, then 10&11) into one (1-11). The CM warned me that I'll get an Email that my reservation was cancelled, followed by a new Email when everything's been merged, so I shouldn't panic when I get that cancellation Email. Well, I'm panicking! I did have a reservation cancelled by a CM, unknowingly, about 12 years ago, and it's an experience I don't want to repeat! I'm just anxious to get this over with, and my new reservation all set. How long might I have to wait?

I feel like mine took around 1 week. He said on the phone it would be a couple weeks.

Same here the first time I did it a few years back. This time I was prepared.

I had a merge done a month or so ago. It took about 3 days if I remember correctly. Give it a few minutes from the cancellation email before you check your dashboard. It was about 15 minutes from the time I got the cancellation email that the merged reservation showed up. The email for the new merged reservation didn't show up for several hours.

I chatted to have one done yesterday morning, 9/12/24. It's not done yet. I took a shot of it so went back and looked and it says 5-7 days time frame.

I have random days all the time and sometimes I do nothing and they will get combined, but lately I've been better about taking care of it.

Not complaining, just curious, so I went back and looked and I chatted on 8/28 a little after 10AM and received the cancellation e-mail @ 5:04 and the Welcome Home e-mail @ 5:39. Maybe it had something to do with the stay being within 60 days.

I have had things done within 24 hours and some taking 3 to 4 days…and I requested both the same day via chat. Think it’s just hit or miss

I called Monday around noon and the merge was completed yesterday (Thursday) around 6:45 PM. So 3 days for me.

I had a merge done last month and I think it took 5 days to complete.

Phoning in it was done straight away via chat they said up to 5 days

Last time I called to merge, which was about 3 weeks ago, the CM did it right while I was on the phone but
in the past it has taken a few days.

I just had one merged yesterday. That one was done the day of the request. About a week ago, it took about 3 days for another merge.

I've had it take anywhere from a few hours to 5 days. It'll get done.

As others said I always call and it is done and you can see it immediately that it is done correctly.
