How Long To Get From Garden Grille In Epcot To Yacht & Beach Club Dock???

Does anyone here know how long it would take us to get from the Garden Grille restaurant in Epcot to the Yacht & Beach Club dock for an Illuminations Cruise??

We have a 6:00pm ps for the Garden Grille and I am wondering if we will have enough time to get to the dock for this after we are done eating?

Would we walk( if so how long of a walk?), take a bus from Epcot or the monorail?

We will have my 70's something parents with us so there will be no brisk walking. Thanks for your input!

We had a 5:00 seating and got to Yacht Club with a lot of time to spare. Where you are going to have some older folk with you I might try to get an earlier seating. That way you could just amble on over. I would say it was probably about 20 minutes to walk it. So you could do it in 1/2 hr. easily. I think we had to get to the marina at 8:15. So, 1 1/4 hr for eating, a 30 minute stroll, you should be fine. Or get the earlier seating to really be sure. Have a ball. We had a great time!!!

I second the motion to walk (go by way of Canada, UK, International Gateway), and agree that 1/2 hour should do it. Enjoy!

There is a boat dock right outside the Epcot gate that will take you directly to the YC&BC dock. It would probably take longer than walking but if some in your party are tired from the walk to the gate it would be worth the extra time.

I have made it from the front of Epcot to my room at the Beach Club in 15 minutes walking, which would be about the same distance you are going. We were walking quickly so I just wanted you to know that the estimated time of 30 minutes is at a nice leisurely stroll, you don't have to rush.
