How long to allow for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern?

We are wanting to make a FP right after lunch and I'am trying to figure out a time for it. Our lunch is at 12:30, probably a busy time. We have never eaten here, but I have read it can take a long time to be seated. Is this true? How long do you think it will take for lunch there?

Our lunch was pretty fast. I'd say an hour total and that was with a cake delivery as well.

In our experience-probably 20 or more lunches there, we have always waited at least 20 minutes and sometimes longer. Once you are seated, I'd say an hour-but we tend to have apps and always dessert-Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is a must every lunch!

Early May so average crowds. Restaurant was packed though.

Yes, total. We do eat later lunches-usually about 1 or 1:30 so earlier will probably have less of a wait. Enjoy!

Ok I would say it really doesn't matter because the restaurants are always packed anyway.

We had a 1:30 ADR last Thursday and it took 30 minutes for them to seat us (party of 3). All other ADRs, we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time.

I do not like waiting but I guess we will have to.

I always allow at least an hour and a half for table service restaurants, unless it's O'hana, and there I allow two hours.

I guess I should of asked will we be outside when waiting to be seated or will we be in air conditioning?

Yes, their waiting area is air conditioned, but there is very little seating in there, unless they added some during the refurb this past fall.

It may be crowded though. There are a fair amount of seats along the walls and in the middle of the room, but expect to wait if you want to sit down. We stood for about 15 minutes by the fireplace before getting seats. It can get hectic with people streaming in and out and the hosts/hostesses coming from both sides to do their "hear ye, hear ye" call for the next party.

We've eaten here A TON. Basically always busy. We arrive about 10min before our ADR time and usually wait btwn 5-20min to be seated. We often skip dessert. We are done between 60-75min after our ADR start time.
