How long should I plan for driving from a resort to the parks to arrive in time for RD? The drive time part doesn't seem to hard (assuming traffic is normal) but I have no idea how long it will take to park/tram/monorail...! Hoping you guys can help me!

Specifically we're staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and I'm looking for when to leave to make RD at each park for a July visit.

I'd leave roughly 30 min before you want to be waiting at the gate. Maybe 45 min-1 hour before for MK since it's such a pain to actually get to the park gate. The 3 other parks it's a lot quicker

10 min to Epcot and ask.. Heading to mk tomorrow so not sure but there you have to park then go on monorail

10 - 15 minutes drive time. If you're going for rope drop, you'll be close enough to the gate to be able to walk from your car without needing a tram in 2 - 3 minutes max. The exception is MK where 15 - 20 minutes should be plenty, assuming transportation is running normally, but that's not a given so I would tag on 10 or 15 minutes extra for buffer.

Thank you guys!

So something like:
- For EP leave by 8:10am I should be able to get to the gates by 8:30 (this one is the closest park to the resort)
- For AK/HS leave around 8am for an 8:30am arrival at gates
- For MK leave at 7:30am for an 8:30am arrival

Is 8:30am a good time to arrive for RD? We're all about RD but we also like sleep... so if 8:45 is still good I'm down with that :)

For MK I would aim for a little earlier. The welcome show will start at 8:40 and there's a decent chance you will still be in security/ticket lines by that time if you get there at 8:30.

Arriving at 8:30 will put you near the back of the pack, especially at MK. Arriving 15 to 20 minutes earlier will save you a lot of wait time throughout the day.

Be aware that sometimes they open the parks 15-30 minutes earlier than the scheduled opening time. So the earlier you get there the better. To be near the front of the rope drop crowd for a park opening I would aim to get to the park 45min-1 hour before it's scheduled to open
