How long of a wait Trader Sam's Wednesday at opening?

On a Wednesday, couple of days from now actually, and we want to go for opening, how intense will the line be?

When we were there in June they opened at 4. We got in line at 3:15 and were the second family in line. Not sure how the HM tiki mugs are affecting the line now if they are still available.

Is there always a line? We are staying at Poly and I was hoping to go for a night cap a couple of times after we get back from the parks (so maybe 10PM)

Lines have been intense recently. There is a separate line for the mug.

Not sure if there’s always a line but it’s very small inside so there could be. I would guess maybe 40 people max can fit at a time.

I have heard the line at opening has been long at opening due to people lining up to get the limited Haunted Mansion Tiki Mug. After they buy the mug, then they go inside for the drink. But I've also heard that today was the last day for the Grog Grotto selling the mugs - so lines should go back to normal. The bar is small, so it doesn't take much to fill it up. But if you go at opening without any special things going on, you should be able to get in.

I would get there around 3:30 pm. We arrived at 3:45 pm on a Wednesday in December 2016 and were the last to get in. This past August, we arrived right at 4 pm and had about a 20 minute wait.
