how long is the walk?

anyone have a rough idea of the length of the walk from pbh to the parks? we have walked from the yc to mgm, is the walk similar in length?

I am sorry, I dont know the answer to your question. Here is a link to a map of the complex. http://www.universalorlando.com/map_index.html . We always stay at the HRH, and the walk from there is about 5-10 mins.

robvia knows how far it is to the parks from PBH...you can pm him. i think it's about 13-15 minutes.....strolling....it's not far.

Its often said that HRH is closest to the parks. I'm sure that it is closer to the Studios but is it closer to IOA than RPR?
PBH is close to 4000' and at 4'/second takes nearly 17 minutes for the normal walker. We have walked from MGM to YC and it felt longer.

We just got back from PBH. With our two kids, at a stroll, it took us 15 min.

Maybe I was lost in the magic of being there but I remember that the HRH is not very far at all from the entrance to either park (10 minutes max - that includes watching the water taxis on the bridge)!! we Loved it and will be staying there again in November/December of 07

I've been waiting for you to post on this one. I remember a LOOOOOOONG time ago when you posted how far it was from each resort to the parks. I often wonder if you actually measured the distance???

I printed aerials and taped them together. It spanned from PBH to RPR at a scale of about one inch equalling 83'. I scaled and calculated the distances. I wrote them down somewhere or was it just a post? I had the massive aerial up on the bedroom wall. My wife made me take it down after about a year.
I did measure the distance from the end of the Villa Wing to the Club Lounge at PBH when someone said they didn't beleive what I had reported.

Thanks everyone. I have timed the walk from all 3 resorts.
HRH - 5 minutes to USF. You'll be spoiled.
RPR - 7 minutes to IOA.
PBH - 13 minutes to USF. It's 8 minutes from the boat dock of the PBH to the boat dock of the HRH. Then another 5 minutes to USF.

This was walking at a normal pace.

With the HRH you can walk back and forth many times during the day. It's like the hotel is connected to the park.
At the RPR it's slightly farther.
For the PBH you can walk it, but it's best to take the boat back after your feet are tired.
