We are going to universal in june and wanted to know if forbidden journey is the first ride we do how many minuteswill nwe have to wait on line?:cool1:

Will you have early park admission or are you staying elsewhere? Are you going in early June or late June?

If you have early park admission, you should be able to walk right through to the ride.

If you are arriving at normal park opening, you could have a 10 to 45 minute wait, depending on when in June you are going and if peak summer crowds have arrived.

I am going June 18th. Unfortunately will not have early admission. Thanks for the advice!!

I think you should go through the regular queue once, so you don't miss any of the fantastic elements in it. That said, keep in mind that single-rider is usually a much quicker option for riding, but skips most of the regular queue. Once you are in loaded in the ride vehicle, you can't see who's next to you.

It depends on the week of course. I was just there Saturday. park opened at 8:00, got there about 8:15. Went on Spiderman first, then walked over to Harry Potter and got right on FJ, no line at all (the sign said 5 minutes). When we got off - it was still at 5 minutes. Walked around the shops, went on the small roller coaster right next to it..........it still was 5 minutes. (probably about 10:00 by now?).
When we walked by again later in the day (say 2:00ish), it said 40 minutes. But every time we looked at one of those signs that lists the wait times, it never was more than 30 minutes.

Good question!! We will be at Universal on June 11th(Monday). We are buying the 1 day park to park pass(with the option of upgrading to the 2nd day before we leave the parks). We have one 11 yr old DS. I would think he would want to head towards World of Harry first then Jurassic Park(he is a big fan of these movies too).

I was there this year on Good Friday. The park opened for non early entry guests at 8 and we were among the first through the gates. We waited about fifteen minutes in the regular line and then walked right onto the ride using the single rider line. By the time we were done with round 2, the posted wait was 90 minutes, (around 8:30) but this was during one of the busiest weekends of the year.

When we went back into the wwohp for lunch around 11 the line stretched all the way into jurassic park and was posted as 120 minutes.

We went back in the afternoon to ride one last time before leaving, and at 3:00 pm the posted wait was 90 minutes, the single rider 40, and single rider no bags was less than 10.

I imagine since this was Easter weekend, these wait times would be a worst case scenario. Hope it's helpful!!
