20-30 minutes? How long does exit take?
Ex: 30 mintue show, 5-10 minutes to exit?
Will a 2:45 Frozen Singalong be okay for a 3:30 Mama Melrose reservation since it is nearby?

It depends when your trip is. The Premier Theater is very close to Mama Melrose, but on June 17 the show moves to the old American Idol Theater. Exiting any of the shows should be no more than 5 minutes, they get those spaces cleared quickly, even if seems longer to us at the time.

Is this actually a show with singing, or is it just singing? I'm trying to figure out my FP strategy.

I didn't know they were moving into the old AIE space! Many memories of making it onto that stage...only to be beat by some froo-froo 16 year old girl singing Reflection...every freaking time! Ugh!! But that's another story :) I wonder what they will do with Premier Theater and the space that Captain Jack was recently in.

I'm glad they will be moving to American Idol Theater before our trip. I have been trying to figure out our fastpasses also.

Really cute and fun show--even for adults. Typical Disney script--some obvious jokes for the kids, but even more subtle jokes for the adults. Cute village characters telling the story, and the kids go crazy when the "real" Anna and Elsa make appearances. Combination of live action with special effects as well as big screen video of scenes from the movie. The crowd really does sing-along...and it's great fun watching the little girls in the audience do every motion and gesture right along with the movie scenes. Well worth the fast-pass especially if you have Frozen fans in your group. My question would be is your fastpass for 2;45 or is the show at 2:45? Because the fastpasses are generally getting you in before the show starts. But even if the show starts at 3:00, sit near the exit and hustle out when the show finishes...make sure you're familiar with which way to head out for the restaurant and the direct path to it. You may be checking in right at your reservation time but they should still seat you, even if you're 5-10 minutes late.

There are a couple of "town historians" that host it, filling in the story in between songs. They are quite funny. Anna, Kristoff, and Elsa also make appearances on stage. It's really cute!

Honestly, I did not like it. Yeah the jokes were funny and cute, but I think singing along w/ Anna, Elsa, etc. (instead of scenes from the movie) or longer appearances of them would be more worth it. I felt like it was a promo for the frozen sing along movie dvd.

catne's description of the show is spot on. My girls didn't want to go to it this past week (wanted to do rides instead) but were singing along and asking to do it again by the end of the show.

We thought it was great. Wasn't expecting it to be so funny. However, my younger sons were disappointed that Anna and Elsa weren't actually doing the singing, but instead it was just the scenes from the movie.

I travel to WDW as a single adult, and I LOVE the singalong. This spring I saw it at DCA as well as DHS.

I love it for all the reasons that catne described, especially the little girls belting out every word and performing every gesture!

It's such a fun, entertaining experience. But then, I love the movie, so that probably helps.

How important is it to get a FP for this...say, in July? Is it a huge wait otherwise?

Wow. I cant believe people didnt enjoy the sing along. I sure did and in fact, I have a FP to see it again.

I also wanted to know if we should get a fastpass for it? We also wanted to know is Olaf at the sing a long?

I think it's definitely worth seeing. I did not want to see it, thought it sounded boring, but we did because we have 3 DDs. We all ended up loving the show! It was funny and lots of fun for the little ones to sing along to (and me too).

We did book a FP for the 11:30 show, but ended up just walking in about 10 minutes before the show w/o using our FP. This was 2 Sundays ago.
