How long is drive to WDW from Venice, FL.?

According to some map websites it should take about 2 1/2 hours to get from our parents winter home in Venice, to WDW.
Does this seem like an accurate time? We'll be driving up during late morning of the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Just wondering what to expect for time plan. Thanks!!!

That sounds about right, I'm driving from Deltona to Naples on Thursday and that is about a 4 hour drive. It's about 45 minutes to WDW from Deltona and about the same from Venice to Naples.

We drive this route alot since my Aunt and Uncle live in Venice. It takes us 2 1/4 hrs. This is driving the speed limit and includes the road work on 4. It's not a bad trip.

We lived in Venice for 10 months and would often take weekend trips to Disney. We could make it in two hours. However, my husband went a little above the speed limit. Venice is beautiful!
