How long has this Monorail poster been out and why is it so expensive? (faints!)

I don't look under posters much and have just noticed

the Monorail poster for 1000 credits in the Star Trader's Shop.

Anyone know how long it's been there?

I know it's been there a long time. Don't think there is anything special about it or that it will be going away any time soon.

I think it has been there since beta. I remember wanting to buy the poster and then noticing the stupid price. I started lurking around here to find out if the poster did something special. I didn't see anything about the poster so I decided it was a must NOT have for me.
